"Not that bad a mixer."

Sound
Not bad considering I had low expectations from seeing a "5" rating given to this mixer by previous reviewers. I am using this mostly for vocal mixing and for that purpose I am quite pleased with this. Voices come across with little coloration and I am not noticing any other peculiarities being added by the mixer. I am not overwhelmed with headroom of the mike section but it is enough for my purposes.
Features
I bought this mixer because it was the cheapest that offered inserts and had fx. Insert is insert and just works. FX I found worked rather subtly (perhaps too subtly sometimes)for vocals. With vocal echo effect, I couldn't do extreme stuff like cavern echoes but that probably is better in the sense that what effects you hear are mostly clean and not too gimmicky. I like the power cord set up with the regular plug at one end and the power adaptor "brick" somewhere in the middle.
Quality
Mixer was surprisingly well built considering again that other reviewers gave this a 5. Fairly heavy and solid construction. Buttons look like they will last and connection points are heavy duty stuff.
Value
I am very satisfied with this mixer. I have considered Mackie before buying this and for my minimal requirements, this serves me quite well.
Manufacturer Support
I have had this for about 2 months and didn't yet have any opportunity to call on support yet.
The Wow Factor
I would like digital mixer but for this price I would buy this again.

I think this board is soley designed for small home studios. If that's what you're in the market for, this is a great choice.
Sound
The effects sound pretty good for such a small inexpensive board.
Features
For a small fry, it has plenty-0-features. This puppy makes a great home studio board.
Ease of Use
It has a manual, well writen. Don't really need it though as this thing is cake to hookup and operate.
Quality
I have to give it a 10 due to it's price. You might expect a cheap board for the price. Not so. Good sturdy board.
Value
Again, for the money, this is a GREAT value.
Manufacturer Support
Wouldn't know.
The Wow Factor
If you are looking for an inexpensive board for a home studio - You want this one...
If you want something to gig with, you may want to consider alternatives, though this one would suffice.
