I will start off by saying for many years I fought going to to powered speakers. My major concern beyond long term reliability was headroom. It seems that some manufacturers these days like to play three-card Monte with amp specs. That is not the case here. I did a gig this weekend with them in a good size room and I was very impressed. The sound quality was excellent and headroom and volume were no issue. The previous speakers we used were dual Yorkville 15 cabs, each one powered by aa QSC RMX1450 bridged. The Dsr115 easily delivered the same SPL with superior fidelity. Frankly I am hearing detail in the mix I have never heard before. They are not cheap but certainly worth the investment.
