I have to say the dgx has came a long way! It has more features and feels like a more higher end than the 660 was. The EP on the 670 are really good, I like the vintage electric piano and the CP80 the sound has improved since the 660 and past. The drums sound awesome, you get a lot of options on the drum track the 660 only had one good one and it was the powerful set, the 670 has more options and sounds great. I didn't see the effects like "thunder " or "rain" in options but the voices sound more realistic than the 660 offers. I'm disappointed that the stand is now separate but other than that I really like digital piano, it worth the money.

I bought this because I wanted 88 keys and a piano, but have some keyboard benefits. I also own a prs e373. I have had this for 4 months. I'm an intermediate player level. I have played piano for over 50 years. I love the yamaha piano and other voices. All voices are instrument and percussion related. No extra sounds like sirens, planes, or thunder. But I have the e373 for that. If you know how to connect to another keyboard via the back usb you can. The built in speakers are good for home use and sound great(10x better than the e373). The only negative is it only has one steroid out. But I split mine into the mixer and plan on setting the e373 above it. I bought the stand and pedals. It comes with a sustain, you can have the 3 plus the sustain and have 4 programmable pedals. You have 16 recording tracks and you can save more songs on it than the cheaper keyboards. Plus there is a regular usb stick port on the top that you can save songs and registrations on. Your dual voice can be played independently from the main plus you have a split left. But there's no harmony button you would have to program that and save a registration if you use that a lot. There is a button for transpose. If you do not buy the stand, you will need a heavy duty stand and not the cheap x single bar style, because the keyboard weighs over 40lbs it could easily get tipped over. There is a non yamaha 3 pedal that will work if you choose. I just dont remember the name. If I But a 3rd keyboard I may go with that option and a heavy duty 3 keyboard stand. On the stand it's about 30 inches from the floor to the top without the music rest.
