Having tried different variations of in ears from Shure and Audio Technica with very little success/satisfaction and always going back to wedges, a friend suggested I try these. Not wanting to spend the money on something like Ultimate Ears, I decided to give these a shot. What a complete game changer. These headphones sound fantastic. I hated the isolating phones. These have an ambient feature that while I have no idea how it works, it just does. I can hear vocals and all the instruments with clarity I never got from the others. I can hear people talk to me on stage. I can still hear my amp and my guitar actually sounds like my guitar. No more fizziness or muddiness. I've turned several others on to these and they all agree, these are the best. I can see why Brad Paisley uses them although from what I understand, he uses the dual driver version. I will never go back to wedges and I can't see ever NOT using my Westones. Great job!

I have been playing bass for 40 + years and The bass and drums sound fantastic. I dont have to turn these up very far and dont have to add to much because of the ambient. These buds are the bomb..mean that in a good way . Was using only one with my previous buds , because I didn't like the isolation . With these the sound quality plus the Ambient sound gives me the best of of both worlds and I dont fell isolated. Highly commend these.

To anyone who had a bad experience:I plugged my Am Pro 30 into my tablet and the sound was absolutely horrible! Like AM radio with no bass or mid range! I was about to trash them and complain to zZounds. I then plugged them into my Sony Walkman and BAM!! awesome, full, rich sound with plenty of bass and mid range! Crystal clear and a great experience! Don't be too quick to complain.....it's probably you!
