"Westone UN pro 30 better than Shure 425? "

I have not used these live yet but I have tested them against my Shure 425 dual drivers. First the fit. Smaller and very comfortable. Many more choices of inserts to choose from. Cable is very thin compared to the 425 but seams sturdy and is replaceable. (I have not seen any replacements on the web yet) Sound was a little more mid-range than the 425 and not as brittle of highs as the 525 tend to be. Seamed to handle the SPL's well with no breakup. So far I am happy I purchased a pair. I have used only Shure for 10 years so this was a big step. Are these $100 better than the Shure? Fit, Inserts and sound...I would say yes.

I have used several in ears before. Shure, Audio Technica, etc, but these are just the best. First off, upon first opening, I was scared. For 400.00 in ears, the cable looks fragile and too lightweight....wrong! They hold up and the the result is a lightweight in ear that doesn't weigh you down. They do come with a solid case to store them in with a lanyard slot to latch them safely to your belt or stand. Sound wise, you get to hear everything. Even in a bad mix scenario, it's manageable to get through a set without issue. Comfort wise, I cannot think of a better in ear headphone. They quite literally dissappear when playing and sit perfectly flush in the lobe. Even after playing, I do not have the same urgency to pull them out as I did with my Shures or AT. Overall, the best triple drivers for the money. They sound amazing and for you drummers, it's worth every penny.

I bought these earbuds because i heard great things about them. After my bass player bought them he highly recommended them. So as a drummer i did some research and talked to some players in my area and they loved them too. You can go wrong with these.
