Get this thing!! It does wonders for your recordings. Bought this 3 years ago and can’t believe how awesome it is for giving my tracks that finished/polished sound. Works good on everything! Love it most on vocals/bass/kick drum.

This thing is a great value clone of Neve pre. It definitely adds some vibe to anything, but what it really shines on is VOCALS. It adds heat and smoothness that makes my voice sit perfectly in the mix, without effects or EQ. I also splurged and bought the UA Soundcity studios plugin (pretty sure that was a classic Neve console over there) and now after running old tracks through this magic box, and the Soundcity plugin, my mixes are sounding grungier than ever. Visually it looks gorgeous- even better than the pictures. Ergonomically, the fat knobs are so pleasing to use and easy to dial in tones. I do notice the input jacks feel less sturdy than on my guitar amp- but that doesn't matter to me as long as they work. Not only does this thing add good tone, I think it might be magic ;) buy it for yourself and see.
