Sounds very good. It's my first spruce top acoustic. The body and sides are striking. Tuners have no play in either direction. The S24S is easy to hold, not jumbo or thick. They put on some excellent strings, D'Addario Coated Phosphor Bronze. The surface of the spruce reveals different shades and bright spots, looks textured. The only issue is that the fret ends have a minor edge, but don't notice it when playing. I've had many acoustics and could never get any of them to sound good. The Washburn S24S is an improvement and affordable.
