Overall this is a great little modeling amp.It comes close to the sound of my vox ac30tb(just not the same). My advice to anyone thinking of purchacing this amp would be to save up your money and buy the real thing an ac30 or for $200 more you can get the holy grail of amps the fender 59 bassman reissue and add all the effects you like. you will be happier in the long run.I bought the valvetronics to gig with so i wouldn't mess up my ac30 or fender 59 bassman.the valvetronics sits in the corner and i hardley play it.still a good amp for what it does - mimic the masters
Sound
This is a great modeling amp.you can get alote of great sounds out of this thing.I own a vox ac30tb reissue and this comes very close to the sound not exact but close. If you are looking for an amp that will get you close to that ac30 sound this is as close as your gonna get.
Features
this thing has tons of features to many to list.every stomp box that you would ever need is there for you.
Quality
Havnt had a problem yet but with all the electronics in this thing i am a little leary of a melt down
Value
If you want a great modeling amp this is it

"Great tone!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Sound
After reading the manual, I figured I was acquainted enough with the dials and switches - it was time to experiment. The best tone I've heard from a moderately priced amp is coming from this AD120VTX! I also have the VoX-12 Foot Pedal. Tip: just fiddle with it using your audiophile ear, you'll be surprised at how great it is! I managed to get tone similar to U2's The Edge from Joshua Tree (which, I suppose isn't that tough, but it's hard to make it sound genuine and this amp pulls it off), Coldplay (both albums), Switchfoot, The Mars Volta, and more - I'm working on my own personal tonal attributes at the moment, wish me luck!
