I bought this strap because it was thick, and looked strong at the time of purchase. Also because zzounds sold it rather cheap for a leather strap. When I got it I noticed it was something else as well, comfortable. I use this strap for my les Paul standard and it really does a lot to disperse the weight of that beast. About the only regrettable thing is that since the strap is so thick, you cannot use cheap strap locks. It just won't work. Beyond that, you'll find little better in it's price range.

"Get This Strap"
I recently purchased one of these to use with my Epiphone Les Paul Tribute Plus. The guitar is about 10 lbs but it is hardly noticable when using this strap. Extra padding, nice and thick and looks great Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I ordered this a few weeks back, so I could retire my 35 year old strap. The price on this was good. It came in a 4 foot long box. Now I know why. The strap is way to thick for the width. You can't fold it or roll it. It will not fit in the compartment inside my Gibson Les Paul case, or any of my other 12 cases. The strap button holes are too small, I mean, I like a tight fit, but it should not require two people to put a strap on a guitar. It looks nice, and is made well, just not practical for me. It is so stiff, I am afraid to put it on any of my high-end guitars in fear of damaging the nitro finish. maybe it will break-in after 10 years. I love the look of it, but I just can't use it.
