Line of sight is what is suggested, but I tested this unit before using it at a gig and found that event with the speakers and receivers in a separate room, they sound was still CD quality. I will be adding two additional receivers so that all my speakers can go wireless.

This device is literally line of site if you so much as walk in front of the transmitter it will cut out, it pretty much lived up to the overall low VocoPro expectations
