As an amp into my 2x12 cab, wow. For a small amp, this thing is LOUD. It scared the living crap out of my cats on full volume. The tone of the Duchess is a lot cleaner than I was expecting, it has a tiny bit of hair when played hard but it really takes distortion and overdrive pedals nicely. If you have a pedal that you love the tone of, this is the amp for you.The Two Notes cab sim works perfectly and really complements this amp nicely. Great amp from someone looking for a true american clean tone in a portable package
