"Most of us will want to try something else."
I'm disappointed. The stand is not solid-feeling enough. The accessories also have various drawbacks. (Who would be so cheap as to make a bag for a product that doesn't have a single pocket?)
Features
Poor design - you can't fold up the stand with the clamps for the 2nd tier attached. Too much wobble while playing.
Ease of Use
If you don't mind the wobble and don't use the 2nd tier, the music stand, or the mic stand, the set-up is very easy.
Quality
The parts you grab to adjust the height of the stand are made of flimsy plastic and cheapo springs. This is a real Achilles heel for the unit.
Value
The V-Stand may be fine for you, but if you are an experienced, steady gigger, you'll probably want to look further. The Apex, also by USS, is much better in most respects.
Manufacturer Support
Although I have not yet attempted to contact USS, other reviews on other sites indicate that they are abyssmal in terms of support.
The Wow Factor
The "I want it" factor is very strong. It's once you actually use it that the sex appeal vanishes. Imagine meeting an incredible-looking girl and finding out that she sounds exactly like your mother.

"Cool gear, cheap company."
I've been using this thing with rubber bands holding the adjusters in place for over a year. When I'm moving the stand and bump the rubber bands, the adjuster falls out and I have to find it. I'm done. Together with lack of service, I won't be buying from USS again.
Features
Bought it because it extends the opposite of X-stands. I play standing, and this provides a nice wide base with lots of foot room.
Ease of Use
Not too heavy. I found the accessories too unavailable, so never got any. It folds up nice, quick, and compact and sets up well too. Fairly steady when playing hard.
Quality
This is the downfall. An adjuster piece broke early on. USS replaced it once. Then one broke again. No help from USS. Then the other broke. I have a $200 stand that is held together with rubber bands. Ridiculous.
Value
I put out for a quality stand. This did not measure up.
Manufacturer Support
I was disappointed that USS didn't stand by their product. Love the design, but poorly made, and I'm shopping for a new stand again.
The Wow Factor
I have to rate this pretty high. I fell in love with this stand when I saw it. It's only after using it the disappointment settles in.
