After purchasing a pair of cheaper stands that began to breakdown after 6 months of use, I decided to upgrade to the Ultimate Support TS Speaker Stands. They're strong, stable, and the built in adapter is really a nice touch. They don't feel cheap, and the tightening knobs fill sturdy and prevent over-tightening. I wish I would've purchased these stands from the beginning, but I digress.
