The stand is all about show....period! I have both the 48 & 90. PRO's: For gigs, I bring the 90 & get so many complements on how cool it looks. I like the legs in the front- it's much better for pedals. It feels so solid compared to the 48. Don't forget about the colors! The blue is awesome! (I have the red since the blue was sold out). CON's: It is a lot heavier & a little oversized. The price is more but you get what you pay for. That's about all I see as negative.

The venerable original APEX was best. Ultimate support over the past 20 years years digested to a religious cult, far from the sleek business unit it once was

Design appears a result of market desperation to produce a product to replace the original APEX. result= over bloated trunk with stubby arms

Way too expensive for what you get...
