I've always wanted one of these and finally got the chance to get an Apollo X6 Heritage Edition. Meets all my expectations as far as what it does and the plugins that are offered. The only issue I have, and I think it's been an issue for UAD for some time is the compatibility issues it has with Windows based systems. I am running windows 11 64 bit with Pro Tools 12 with Thunderbolt 4 connectors. Took me a minute to figure out how to get the Apollo to work, it was not that easy, (plug and play didn't work). I had to use 3rd party drivers in order to get it to work properly, but I do still have some crackling noise when I have my DAW open, and I try to play YouTube or any other Videos or audio. Also, sometimes they Apollo crashes when I'm using their plugins, stops my whole system and I have to reboot (this happens rarely, but it is an issue, also tried 3 separate thunderbolt cables and still happens). UAD if you ever read this, please fix these compatibility issues with Windows, I'm sure you have a smart enough team who can figure this out, it's been years (from reading about it online) and it's still an issue.
