I run it as the front end to a Marshall Class Five and love the tone. It does not seem to matter what guitar I use, ultimately it's about the signal chain and the output from the speaker for me. The price is right and it will do great rock tones, dial it down a bit and you have some wonderful blues - paired up with the Tonebug Reverb and I could do a set or two out live no problem, classic Fender tear 'em up and some BluesBreaker Freddie King or John Mayall / EC/ Peter Green, right there.
