The Bass is everything I knew it would be and more! Still finding my tone with it. beautifully crafted woods and manufacturing is incredible! Only have one complaint, the batteries die if you leave them in the cavity of the bass with out the instrument cable being plugged in. Im trying to get with Gibson to see if this is expected behavior. I do know that a friend of mine with a 90's version of bass had me install an on/off switch so he was not having to open the cavity to save the batteries. anyhow. otherwise I couldnt be happier! if you are considering it! Do it! buy this bass from zZounds because they make owning gear easy and friendly.
