it is in midiman audiophile range. i get the best results with 48000 24bit. no jitter or it is minimal. for recording i use fine stereo preamp. you cannot plug in anything directly in it. its also great for surround in home theaters and for listening stereo.

only basic: two ins, six outs (stereo 3.5 mini unfortunately) plus optical in and out and relatively useless mic in on the daughterboard. great feature is +18db of gain on both ins (and mic in) in 0,5db steps it also sports direct monitoring feature. drawback is that it has no midi ins outs, but midi is suported on every contemporary mainboard through game port.

you can get it very cheap. cheaper even then midiman audiophile. midiman revolution is a potentialy better value but i do not have it

i have never needed them. i own it for year and a half.

its dicontinued. if it dies i would buy a different card
