Call me crazy but I use this for voice over and a little singing. It sounds really good. Has a presence and a smoothness about it- and almost a three dimensional quality to the audio. Coming from the Sennheiser 416, which is a great mic but I felt the Sennheiser was a bit grating on the ear for long audiobook reads, but the Copperhead is REALLY pleasant to listen to long term. Sibilance is low, tone is warm but still very precise- which you want for a read. Sound sits on top of a mix well.Mic is also very handsome and comes with a shock mount and hard traveling case and power supply. It's funny, because it has its own power supply you can plug it directly into your phone! Was worried about spending so much on a mic but I'm very happy with the purchase.
