I use this size/style pick exclusively on guitar and mandolin, with some minor variations is tip point/round-ness and usually between 1.3 and 1.5mm. This pick has a neutral/round bevel and very slightly rounded tip and in the pack I got all measured a bit thicker than 1.5mm at almost 1.6mm (average was about .062" or 1.57mm). The sound is quite dark with the upper frequencies muted. For me, it appears to be essentially the same pick as the D'Andrea Pro Plec, which has a similar tone, and while I can use it on the mandolin, it is just too dark of a sound on my guitars (both OM size, spruce tops). I won't down-rate it, because it's pretty inexpensive pick if you're comparing against some of the boutique brands, but I won't buy them again.
