I have been watching this guitar since the first time I read about its release from Taylor Guitars. I kept putting it off and putting it off, but when they discontinued the model, I panicked a little. zZounds still had one left in stock and I grabbed it with no turning back. It is quite simply, the best guitar I have ever played. It is essentially a 914 with the Dave Matthews appointments. Fit and finish is perfect, and it sounds like a dream. Every gig I play, people come to look at this one in particular. I own an 814CE and an 810, but when they are lined up on stage, they might as well be invisible to everyone else. People gravitate to this guitar. If you are a Dave Matthews fan, it is perfect.If you love great guitars, it is even better. Too bad it is discontinued. If you find one out there, but it immediately. It did ship without the certificate of authenticity, but zZounds quickly remedied the issue. As always, zZounds sets the standard for customer service. Once you see, hold and play this guitar, you will be never look back. Price is daunting for many guitar buyers, but you really do get what you pay for. Owning it now, it is worth more than the selling price to me. It will be staying in my guitar arsenal forever.
