This guitar just sounds sweet and beautiful in the right hands. Like any guitar, the sound can be enhanced by the player's capability, but this guitar may add a little extra to skills you've acquired. I used to have difficulty falling asleep but now when I practice at night the sweet sound of this guitar almost puts me to sleep immediately after I've practiced. Honestly this guitar sounds like a lullaby. Not to say it sounds childlike or small or lesser than any other guitar, just beautiful.
Sound
This guitar just sounds sweet and beautiful in the right hands. Like any guitar, the sound can be enhanced by the player's capability, but this guitar may add a little extra to skills you've acquired.
Ease of Use
This guitar sounds amazing right out of the packaging. This guitar is extremely playable and I find that I can lose hours when I'm playing it.
Quality
It is made very well. It is very reliable and consistent in sound. Honestly, I hope and and quite sure that the guitar will last me the rest of my life and be passed down in my family.
Value
I'd say this guitar is worth the price. It's among the upper echelon of Taylor guitars and I'd easily say that I prefer its sound and look over the 814ce.
The Wow Factor
The look of this guitar is unique. It caught my eye when I saw it and it caught my ear when I heard it for the first time.

My 15 year old grandson has been singing and playing guitar among other instruments since he was 4, and is currently flirting with success. We had been going to the guitar store regularly, browsing the affordable and day dreaming of owning the best. The guitar he really yearned for was the Taylor 614ce, but it was out of our budget. One day he found it on zZounds and I realized it was within my reach as my gift to him. zZounds has been my quality path in product and the whole buying experience, class act all the way. I will always be grateful. They have our appreciation and loyalty.
