This is the finest guitar I've ever played let alone owned. I bought it at a different shop than where I originally played it and was amazed at the tight QC and attention to detail. The guitars were identical and the sound was consistent. If your are a figerpicker than this is the 12 for you. The sound is very deep and ballsy and is noticed by everybody who hears it. The volume unplugged was a little lower than I was expecting but that is because the instrument is crafted out of solid Mahogany. The price is why I purchased this instrument; it seems like it should be priced much higher. The electronics are amazing. I have to turn the volume down almost 40 percent on my amp when switching guitars. The instrument comes with a lifetime warranty that I would recommend you opt in. The factory setup is a little high but very playable, if you do, however, decide to have the instrument setup then make sure to take it to a Taylor certified shop. It is a much different task than setting up a cheap Asian guitar. It is not recommended by Taylor to alter the bridge and saddle adjustment. A certified Taylor Luthier knows how to properly set it up. Enjoy, this guitar will be in your estate for generations!

What a sound out of a small body. I have had several 12 strings, one sits on the wall, the other in the case. Both unplayable beyond 3rd fret. The neck is smooth and so easy to play. Hard to put down. Then I plugged it in, instantly fell in love. Plus it,so beautiful on a stand.
