Sound
I have tried the LP to cdrw and is a little flat but clear sound stage. From cd to casstte or visa versa it does a great job in sound quality. I play the cd's on the nad 521 or Merdian throught BW 803 or BW-804 with Macintosh 352 or parasound HCA-3500 amplifier XLR input's. It does quite well in recordig details of background sounds and top end is never harsh. I wish I had more volume level around 50dB per channel. So it will be at good sound level. It is a far cry from my computer CDRW deck that I use to record from but not ant more. I use Synergistic research model revolution reference XLR's and Alpha sterling models to get best performance out of the CDRW/cassette combo deck. I am using all inputs from LP(Thorens 126MKIII),cassette (Nakimichi Dragon, CD-player NAD 521. I like the feature of stand alone and phono stage hookup.
