I previously bought the 5inch which had an electrical noticeable buzz. The 7 has the same issue. Because these ones are louder are not placed as close to me as the 5inch, thus I cant hear the noise. But....they Shouldn't have this noise.Compare to my Focal 65, the Tannoy miss a few highs and lows. But, somehow I love the sound of them. And the look of them as well, I know looks shouldn't be a creterio for monitors, but I look at them and get inspired:) But their advantage is the concentric speaker, my ears get a well balanced frequency. The volume and high boost being in the front is a plus. They do go off when sound is not present, but they "wake" up faster than the Vocals.I am happy.
