"Beyond Gorgeous!"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I might buy two of these sets, in case they don't keep this color around.
Sound
Was actually amazed that it does sound better than Maple!
Features
Easy set up, keeps the tuning, looks fantastic, especially in dark venues. When the spot lights hit it, look out!
Ease of Use
No sharp edges, and all construction is first class.
Quality
Engineered well, especially for dumb drummers. Plating is excellent.
Value
Comparative to others.
Manufacturer Support
Even made a custom size for me.
The Wow Factor
Lava Glass Glitter has to be the best color ever. If you actually look under the microscope at the glitter, it's a bunch of cracked mirror pieces, then covered with the Lava laminate. Ingenious.

"Very nice kit,sight and sound"

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I am quite satisfied so I will always have a b/b kit. I also play an all maple set; but this tama kit is SWEET.
Sound
Sweet, warm and round. Very nice expressive tones. They also have a powerful attack when desired.
Quality
Have had this kit for a few weeks, so far so good. I've done two studio jigs and the kit shined; can'nt wait to try them out live.
Value
Seems to be a good purchase. Time will tell, but do feel like will have this kit for a long time.
The Wow Factor
Everyone who has seen them loves them. Lava glass glitter, a new look for me.

I will be satisfied with this kit for many years to come.
Sound
Great sound. Punchy with nice tones. It was just what I was looking for!
Features
Great hardware with it... the tom mounts, the hoop clamps, all A-1 material. Of course, what else would you expect from Tama?
Ease of Use
Easy to set up and tune. No problems here.
Quality
A-1 quality
Value
Great drums for the price.
Manufacturer Support
Tama was contacted by the store which I purchased it from... they were true to their word as far as delivery goes. It arrived pretty much right on time.
The Wow Factor
I purchased the Dark Cherry Fade kit... sight unseen. I was buying on faith from pics I have seen on the internet and on other people's recommendation. It looks SWEET!
