Sound
I would give it a 10 but I needed to add Evans E-Rings to get the sound right and to cut down on the harmonic buzzing.

I bought these for my studio and love them. Tuning and set up was simple. I replaced the stock heads with Remo Black Suede heads on toms, Controlled X Head on snare and Aquarian Super Kick I on bass. Loving the sound. The 5.5x13 in snare sold me on these drums. I love the crack it gives when tuned high but still gives much body. Had my drummer play on it at Church and it cut right through the music. Cymbals: They are okay It's almost like using Sabian B8's (okay for the price but not good for studio usage.) Will probably will get some Sabian AAX's Crashes. and keep the Ride. And maybe some Zildjan Master Sound Hats.

15 years of experience. Play for many gospel artists. main instrument is Keys but I started out on drums and still love them.

The drums overall are excellent. The floor tom kinda rings too much but changing the heads is a good idea. I added a Evans bass with the foam and the bass is deep and punchy, It's the best bass I've ever heard,
The ride cymbal and the hi-hats are pretty ok to me. The crash is a really bright crash like a Sabian B8. I recommend buying a new one.
The hardware that comes with the set is excellent, the bass pedal has a really strong feel. When I got the set the hi-hat linking to the chain was broke, so I called zzounds and they immediately replaced it! That was excellent customer satisfaction.
My recent performance I did with this set was the best set there according to appearance and sound, people couldn't believe the sound that was coming out the drums, as well the appearance. The color really sparks out on stage.

Ive been playing drums for 11 years, but Ive been playing drumset for 6 years.

WOW..... let me tell you peeps out there this is a great set of drums been playing for over 25 years, I will change the cymbals the crash is ok and change the heads to remo but the hardware is the bomb !!! Ps.... the WHITE is beautiful !!!! really stands out !!!
