I’m not sure why precious is complaining about these being cheap Chinese cymbal stands? Maybe they were intoxicated while writing the review. I’m very satisfied and own 4 of these.

I bought this two pack because I only had one single braced stand that came with my second hand drum kit. Positives are that it's double braced, they work as straight stands as well as a boom stands, and the price is pretty good for two stands. I think they'd be light enough to choose to gig without worrying about packing a ton of weight to the gig. They seem pretty solid as far as holding my cymbals, but if I tap the stand with my hand it's a little wobbly no matter how I have the legs adjusted. They're not going to randomly fall over so maybe it's not even an issue. The biggest drawback to me is that the boom arm is surprisingly short. It's only 11 inches from the arm's end to the start of the collar/bracket on the other end. I measured my friend's PDP boom arm and it was 15 inches. This isn't a big deal for adjusting crash cymbals, but it makes it hard to adjust my ride cymbal next to the rack tom on my one up one down configuration. If I would have known how short these boom arms were I probably would have found a different stand.

I dont recommend buying these cheap Chinese made stands. They can barely hold my cymbals. They wobble majorly! Do not waste your money like I did!

"Not for big/heavy cymbals"

I wouldn't put anything over a 16 inch crash on these things. They definitely cannot hold my 20 inch ride lol. I have to brace the stands next to other sturdier things. I'm really disappointed with these. If you have a 16" crash or a little splash cymbal, these things are fine. Otherwise, I'd keep looking.

These things are really light weight. Don't expect to put a 20 inch heavy ride on one. It just falls right over. I managed to get an 18 inch heavy crash on one without it falling over but I am using a bass drum to brace it. It's holding my 18 inch china pretty well though. Just temper your expectations. I just wanted something for jamming at home but these aren't nearly heavy enough
