This is the ninth preamp I’ve purchased in the Synergy ecosystem. It is by far my favorite. It crunches nicely and screams like a horror movie actress. After picking up way too many metal-friendly preamps, some start to sound too similar. This is a very unique sound. I will never part with the Fortin, but I’d be happy to get rid of my IICP, 800, Powerball, and DRECT.
