Supro Black Magick Reverb Guitar Combo Amplifier (25 Watts, 1x12")

Supro worked with Lenny Kravitz to bring back the Black Magic Reverb, capturing the midrange grind of the original and adding a 2-band EQ and tube reverb.

I own high end orange, fender, Marshall, etc amps and wanted something different. I came across the Supro and with what I mostly record being black keys, artic monkeys like music, I thought this would hit the spot. The amp is really well built, gorgeous to look at and the sound is out of this world. The cleans are beautiful and full without the ice picky highs. The amp is on the warmer side of tone in my opinion but perfectly clear and articulate. It’s a master volume amp so you can drive the channels and get gorgeous overdrive. This amp takes pedals brilliantly! One of my favorite tones so far is my Maestro titan boost into the amp to drive the front end. My goodness what a beautiful tone. It’s worth it to purchase the optional foot pedal so you can easily kick the reverb and/or tremolo off and on. The tremolo is super lush and full sounding and one of the best I’ve heard so far. The reverb isn’t as treble filled as a fender reverb but on the darker side which is a nice change from what I’m used to hearing. All in all an amazing amp, very loud if needed, full of tones for any genre!
