Numa X73 – Honest Review from a Nord & Yamaha FanAs someone who’s a long-time fan of Nord and Yamaha, I was pretty skeptical about all the buzz surrounding the Numa X73. After watching several videos and hearing all the hype, I decided to take the plunge and see for myself if this keyboard lived up to the praise. Here’s what I found:Pros:•Well-built and solid – The overall construction feels sturdy and reliable.•Lightweight and easy to carry – For its size, it’s surprisingly portable.•The keybed is excellent – The feel of the keys is truly impressive, especially for this price range.•Great-sounding pianos and electric pianos – The samples are well done and offer good tweakability.•Affordable for the quality – Considering everything it offers, the price is more than fair.Cons:•Power button feels weak – In my opinion, it seems a bit flimsy and easy to break.•Joystick also feels fragile – I’m not confident it’ll hold up to heavy use.•Organ, synth, and some other sounds are underwhelming – They feel too basic and uninspiring.•Navigation isn’t very intuitive – It’s not the quickest or most dynamic interface for live performance or quick sound changes.•No distortion or overdrive FX – This is a big miss, especially for warming up organ tones.•Overall FX section is lacking – Some effects feel too minimal or flat.Final Thoughts:If you love the Nord piano sounds but don’t want to spend $4,000, you might really enjoy the Numa X73. Pairing it with a laptop to expand your sound palette could make it a more complete instrument for your setup. Without that extra support, you might find some of the onboard sounds a bit lacking. Still, for the price, it’s a strong option with a lot to offer—especially in terms of piano feel and build quality.

Purchased this unit March 2023, StudioLogic releases firmware update 2.4, update completes, I now have no sound. I've tried making getting support from their site. I used the SN located on the bottom of the unit and I can't get help due to invalid SN. Now I am without a board to use when I have a number of shows to perform this weekend. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY STUDIOLOGIC PRODUCTS. YOU'LL BE WAISTING YOUR MONEY!
