I have been using Roland keyboards for 30 + years, but after reading up on the 2X and discovered its low price, I thought it was worth giving it a try. I have had the 2X for 3 weeks now and just this past weekend took it out on a gig. It was easy to move around and took little stage space. Those in the band I have been playing with for the past 13 years and others familiar with my work all praised the new sound that 2X brought to the mix. They remarked on how much deeper and richer the pianos and organs sounded - as compared to the Rolands. I still can't live without my Roland gear, but this little bad boy is a hoot and well worth the investment. The only warning I want to provide is to those wishing to do live shows with this unit... Be sure and buy a HARD case for the 2X! It is NOT built like a Roland, being made of all plastic, so this this thing needs careful handling while moving it.
I began playing drums in 1967, then the trombone, the piano, bass guitar and now singing lead in our band.
