Don't write alot of reviews but here i go. i've tried alot of daws out there logic, acid, digital performer, reason, flstudio, studio one, etc... but at the end of it all im super happy i brought cubase 6 artist edition. it's the only software i have on my computer and honestly the only software i need. i produce beat and record vocals in the hip-hop pop rnb and dubstep genre. but this thing can do so much more. Just because it says artist edition does not mean it's useless. in fact i think there's simply too many things you can do. the full version I THINK has unlimited audio tracks and vst tracks something like that. Bottom line this software has MORE than any home studio needs. plus with zzounds im only payin like $62 a month which is awesome. will make future purchases. There is a learning curve involved but if you've used other daws shouldn't take to long. cubase has alot of stuff so much that you probably won't be able to learn it all. my advice is pretty much what everyone says about cubase. learn what you need to know and get to making music.
