My Pioneer gave up and I didn't have 600 plus dollars to replace it. Bought a few cheaper models and I sent them back because they sounded like crap. I took a chance on the Stanton and never regretted it. The build quality is far above the price and the mixer sounds awesome. I would put this up against Pioneer any day of the week. If money is an issue ,this is the only mixer you should buy.
