Other than a high level of 60 cycle hum, and tuning being an absolute chore, this thing is a steal! In fact it’s such a good deal I will completely disregard my own previous comments, this guitar brought me my first inspiration to record a new song in a long time, I love you zZounds.

"A Wonderful 12 string guitar for the Money!"

I haven't had this guitar very long but I can say that it is a joy to hold and a absolute delight to play! The fit & finish is way above expectations and is at least equal quality to the many US and Mexico made Fender guitars that I own. It arrived in perfect condition and the packaging was great, I was able to tune and intonate it in less than 30 minutes and this was the first time that I have done this with a 12 string. It has stayed in tune after numerous hours of practice and playing. My only gripe is that the protective film that is applied at the factory over the pickguard and pickups is a real task to remove especially under all those strings. Overall, highly recommended, if you are considering a quality 12 string guitar consider this one!

"A 12 string with a decent neck width"

I just got this today and have been playing it off and on. I have played a lot of electric 12 strings over the years and all of them suffered from a neck that was just too skinny. The neck on this guitar is wide enough to make fretting in the first position easy and all the way down the neck. The guitar was set almost perfectly, and I used to set up guitars, all the new one for a large music store years ago. They paid attention on this guitar. The only thing I found is an oddball issue - one of the e string tunes has a sharp bit on the part you turn and it is sharp enough to cut yourself. That's it. Intonation seems close without checking, nut was cut correctly, neck is in adjustment and the actions is about right. That's unusual. The build quality is excellent also. China is doing a very good job. Definitely worth the price. I am a 12 string player from an early age and I cannot play a regular 6 string dreadnaught because you cannot hear the overtones and bell like ringing on a 6 string. The 12 strong spoiled me I guess. So I am picky, and this is a really nice guitar even by US standards.

Tuned up and played wonderfully, right out of the box. The neck is straight and comfy. The fret work is great, no fret sprout or dead frets or fret buzz at all. Sounds are awesome. Love how you can roll off the volume and get a sweet chime. It stays in tune too. Action was low. Easy to play. Nicely set up I gotta say. Pretty shocked at the quality and sound honestly. I have read many complaints online about laurel fretboards but I don't see or feel a problem. Eh, to each their own. The value for your money is insane. I highly recommend pulling the trigger if you are thinking about getting one. Fantastic instrument. I'm going to play my Jazzmaster XII now.

I waited a couple weeks to do this. For the money you can't go wrong. I've played it at least every other day for an hour or more and it's still in tune. The tuners are much better than I thought they'd be. One less thing to mod... The setup out of the box is surprisingly good, just needs a slight truss rod tweaking, and drop the bridge saddles about 1/32. Intonation is good up to the 12th fret, and I will adjust it slightly, but still great out of the box considering it came from a cold climate to just under 80° in à few days. The frets are dressed nicely, no spout or excessively sharp edges, and the fingerboard edges are rolled. Yep, rolled. Couldn't believe it. Haven't played it out at open mic night or to jam with a drummer yet, but the electronics and pickups are fine at home. Easy replacement anyway so it's not something Im worried about. This guitar was such a pleasant surprise. I'm amazed at how good it is for the price. I've owned a couple electric 12 string guitars previously, and bang for the buck, this wins, ymmv. Fit and finish is perfect. As far as a gig bag I ordered a World Tour Explorer bag and if you flip it around it fits pretty good. Roll up a towel on one side and it's perfect for under $30. Now the best part. As said, I've owned a couple electric 12 string guitars before. I usually end up selling them because the cost/ benefit ratio ends up on the wrong side all the time, but I just love them. zZounds really did this right, and I can't say enough about their customer service and price match guarantee. I had been eyeing this a couple years ago at $450, and with things currently that was $503. Saw it on Fender's site for $429 and decided to pull the trigger. zZounds met the price and I was thrilled. 2 days after I placed the order, I saw it in Lake Placid Blue only on MF for $319, called and zZounds met the price again. Both of the guys I dealt with were awesome about it, and I couldn't believe my luck. Thanks guys. Great guitar, great service, and I'll keep coming back.
