Squier Affinity Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar, with Maple Fingerboard
Squier gave this awesomely affordable Tele the Deluxe treatment with two humbuckers, a slim C-shaped neck, string-through-body bridge, and maple fretboard.

I've owned probably a dozen Squiers overy the years, everything from Affinity to the Classic Vibe to the Vintage mod. My go to guitar is an 86 MIJ Squier Strat that is 100% origional except for the pickguard and the knobs and I play it daily. The Fender single coil has been a constant in my life, playing mostly Strats and Mustangs, my bass playing has been mostly Fender as well. While I love knock off guitars and have a couple of T-Style knock offs, I had always wanted to dip my toe into the humbucker pool so I thought I'd start with the Affinity Telecaster Deluxe and I have not been disappointed. I've replaced some tunners and some pickups, even a couple of bridges in Squiers in the past just to get the sound or feel I'm looking to obtain. Since I like to tinker, it's never been a bother and is actually enjoyable. There is nothing quite like personalization. My main bass is a stock VM Jag but I changed out the stock pups for Duncan Basslines. I changed the pups on one of my Strats for modern noisless single coils. I fully expected to make some changes to this Tele Deluxe I order from zZounds but so far, so good. The split shaft tunners are solid and easy. Once I swapped out the strings for my slinkys it has just stayed in tune, for nearly a week. I've maybe had to adjust the low E, and that's it. The pickups sound full and rich, though a bit muddy on the neck pickup, I can see myself swapping thmen out for the widerange pickups down the road but for now, they sound more than adequate. As far as the looks go, this thing has Keith Richards written all over it. No blimishes, very clean neck with a great satin finish, easy to slide up and down. With the black body, black pickguard and brand new shinny screws and pickups my wife says it looks like a leather jacket. It came out of the box clean and pretty well set up, I adjusted the action just a bit because I like it lower, but other than that it's near perfect. All in all I could not be happier with the purchase. Imagine getting a gig worthy, even road worthy guitar for under 300 bucks? That's the Squier Affinity line now. If I could give it 10 stars for value I would, pound for pound Squiers are the best value on the market today.

This guitar has the nice sound I've been looking for, from smooth and jazzy, twangy country to rock. It came with two long scratches on the back- but no biggie. It looks good, plays well. Buy one and make some beautiful music.
