This tele sounds very much like my 76 fender telecaster I had back in the day. For the money this is a great guitar. I don't think the one I received needed much setup. But you will have some setup to do but that's normal

When it arrived the string guide/retainer was tight and at an angle, this made it impossible to tune. I had to loosen it just a little so it would set itself into the right position, and then a full intonation adjustment, and this guitar came to life. It stays in tune and plays very well. I have noticed the Bullet Telecaster is a little brighter sounding than the Affinity Telecaster and that's a good thing when it comes to recording these guitars together. This is a good guitar.

"Nice Tele"

I wanted a decent Tele to add to my small collection but had a few specific specs in mind and a budget. I wanted a matte or minimally finished neck, Alnico pickups and a belly carve. I was looking heavily at the Classic Vibe models that were a bit more expensive, but they have a poly finished neck and no contour cut. So I decided to go with the Affinity version in butterscotch blonde. It comes with decent ceramic pickups stock, which are actually fine, but I believe in a bit of the “snake oil” about alnicos, so I swapped them out with a set of Vintera Vintage 50’s pickups. The overall fit and finish of this guitar is very good. Mine is much more yellow than the example on the website, and the multitalented piece body is more irregular and grainy. I personally don’t mind, but it’s pretty bright. The unfinished neck is great. The frets were level with adequately smooth edges. The tuners and hardware are also adequate and don’t really require replacement unless you want a vintage bridge or lockers. It’s about 7 lbs., and very comfortable to play with the belly carve. It has become a favorite among my many axes and currently the one I play the most. It’s a solid guitar and good value at this price. I believe any level of guitarist could appreciate and enjoy this instrument.

I just received this guitar today let me tell you I am shocked at the quality for the price. I've read reviews that have praise this guitar and now I know why. This guitar feels and plays as good as guitars twice the cost. The customer service with this company is also excellent. I've gotten several things from them now and haven't had any problems whatsoever..love em.. and with my credit if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have any of the things I've been able to purchase .

Really pretty guitar that feels comfortable and sounds good especially for the money but the setup and fret work are pretty bad out of the box. Serious intonation issues and sharp fret ends out of the box. If you know what you’re doing these are not big issues to correct but I wouldn’t recommend for new players or anyone that doesn’t want to do the work.
