Bought this guitar thinking that I might regret it. Wow was I wrong! This guitar plays as well as my Mexican Strats for 1/4 of the price. I was so impressed I bought another one as a backup. Just as nice as the 1st one. I thought my 1st has to be a fluke. I was wrong again. These guitars are easily worth twice the price. Love both of these guitars. Fende hit a home run with this guitar. Thank you Fender. And zZounds.

So it just seems as time goes by, Squire guitars are only getting better and better each time I play one! I got the lake placid blue (I'm a sucker for the color) this thing just felt great and played great coming out of the box! The neck just feels awsome and of course, zZounds had it at my door safe and sound and as quickly as possible. It's a fun little guitar in its price range I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're getting it as a gift for a beginner.

Impressive...Surprisingly well set up out of the box.. neck relief, action, frets..all respectfully in spec. No fret buzz..no fret sprout, not the smoothest ends..but very tolerable.. Finish has no flaws. Didn't want to stay in tune very well at first..changed strings to my preferred, lubed the nut and saddles.. she stays in tune now after heavy bends and ample play time.. smooth playing, pickup voicing is responsive. Dosent handle high gain Distortion very well, but i didnt buy it for that.. ive got metal screaming axes for that..No regrets on this one. A good buy
