I own a player series P bass with flats and wanted to have a second bass with round wounds and to upgrade eventually with a hipshot tuner and upgraded bridge. I play mostly worship music at church now. I have had several squier basses and guitars and it's hit or miss. This one needed quite a bit of adjustment and the fret ends were really sharp which was surprising to me because usually squier necks are as good or better than fender Mexican models. Basic set ups are pretty easy, ended up shimming the neck to get the action nice and low. I will be filing down the fret ends this weekend. Other than that it's a gorgeous bass and already upgraded to white pearl pick guard which looks good with the walnut finish. zZounds was great as always and FedEx was disappointing per usual. Took 6 days to deliver the package.
