I was just wanting a 25.5 scale guitar and didn't want to pay much, like at all. This was perfect for what I was looking for.It did need a little bit of a setup once I got it, obviously. Intonation adjustments were needed, action was almost 3 mm and needed to be lowered, too much relief in the neck, and there was a bit of fret sprout; all things which can be fixed by an amateur with help from YouTube tutorials. Plus, it's a 230 dollar guitar which makes it perfect to learn to do these things on. I'm personally going to try my hand at soldering for the first time when I put a better pickup in it. Seems simple enough with a single humbucker!I will note that mine did not come with the skunk stripe neck. Just plain maple, which is kind of a bummer.
