This was delivered to me just a couple of hours ago , and I am impressed. No fret sprout , and a lighter body which at me age (66), is much easier on my back. All I had to do ,was to peel the plastic off of the pick guard and neck plate ,and adjust the saddles. As far as the back plate goes , I never have any use for them so off to the trash they go. The quality on this guitar just blows away the Kramer Focus VT211S , which I now have up for sale I am playing this through my Fender Champion 25, which was another recent purchase from here. This one is going to be with me for a long time. Thanks zZounds.

Good guitar for the price. I bought it to mod with a pre wired pick guard as a project guitar. Fret edges were ok. Required minimal set-up. My only complaint is that the guitar in the pictures has the stripe on the back of the neck, mine did not. The sonic body is slightly thinner than a normal strat, but i actually like the light weight of it. I slapped the new pickguard and electronics in it, and play it every day.
