"Who needs a "cougar" when you've got a Jaguar?"

While this bass lacks in accessories included, it is a great bass. I love it.
Sound
Truly the best of both worlds. The bass is similar in styling and playability of the jazz bass, but with the deep tones that pop of the P-bass. Also, this is a great bass for players who like a thin neck and short scale. I play in a few bands and the sound of this bass can carry through all of them. From indie and electro, to punk, to hardcore - it covers all the bases of underground music and more I am sure. My first bass was a P style that I felt was generic and I always had love for the look of the jazz bass. I compared the P-Bass to a Jazz bass in a guitar shop and found the jazz bass did not have the sound I was looking for. Still yearning for a different looking guitar, I tried the Jaguar - it was the best of both worlds.
Features
Unfortunately, this bass doesn't really come with any accessories. Sure, you get the allen wrenches you may need for regular care, but I've got tons of those. Even a gig bag would have been nice. Regardless, I was just happy to have this great sounding bass in my posession.
Ease of Use
This bass is very playable. Thin neck allows for easier play. You might want to fool around with the tone nobs quite a bit and keep in mind you have 2 volume controls for the pick-ups... mix and match, figure it out, that's part of the fun of getting a new guitar.
Quality
While this is not a true Fender, Squier has always put out a quality product in my opinion.
Value
I have had some more expensive guitars that were not as great as this.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't had any problems that I would need to contact Squier, yet.
The Wow Factor
This guitar is a very sexy beast.
