I must say I did not expect a Fender guitar, at this price, to perform as well as the Squier Telecaster. The sound quality, ease of play, and appearance are excellent. Although I have 12 other guitars that were more expensive, I find myself playing the Squier every day. Thanks Fender for making this guitar available.

"A Hotrodders Dream"
I was pleasantly suprised with this butterscotch beauty. The fit and finish is awesome for a $179 guitar. The frets could use a little work on the sides to make it silky smooth. I had to change the strings as I play it strung right handed. after flipping the nut and slapping on a set of 10-46 slinkys, all it took was a tiny tweak on the B string saddle to get it into perfect intonation. it sounds OK right out of the box, but there are tons of mods you can do to these and for cheap! I'm getting a loaded 4 way switch plate and the jury's still out on the pickups, sooo many to choose from. Buy it!! you won't be sorry!!
