This is the 1st high end bass I've ever owned. I've played plenty from Rick to Fender, but I've only owner mid tier as I find hadn't found anything I fell in love with. Honestly Ibenez really fit well for what I wanna fell on the neck, even though I've never been completely blown away by the electronics. A player recommended Spector to me. Since he is as if not more eclectic as I am. He plays in a Alanis Morissette tribute and death metal. So I bit the bullet and took the chance. There is nothing I can complain about on this bass besides the price; although I'll never regret it. The Voice of this thing is amazing. Crystal clear, Growling, punchy, smooth all at the same time. I'm playing through a Mesa subway D800 on a cheap fender 410. The fretboard is silky smooth with perfect action. I was surprised with the contoured shape of the body. While it isn't a game changer for me since I play very low slung, It is amazing when you pull that strap up and play it on your belly. I just hope this beautiful beast doesn't ruin all other basses for me. I will absolutely compare everything to this from now on. It says it comes with a gig bag, but mine came with a custom hard case. I cannot stress enough how much I love it.
