Spector Bantam 4 Short Scale Electric Bass (with Gig Bag)

Perfect for players with smaller statures, the Spector Bantam's 30-inch short scale still delivers seriously huge tone thanks to a pair of EMG 35DC pickups.

"Batam Bass"

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
It’s not a Batman bass. I play it daily with nylon flatwounds. The ebony fingerboard sits on a wide, thin, three-ply maple neck. The shorter scale makes it feel almost like a guitar. The neck is solid—not that floppy rubber-neck feel—and it’s bolted on with five screws. The pickup tone is unique, but it doesn’t stack up to a Fender. The pickups lean heavily toward treble, and with flats it can sound strange in a mix. The machine heads have a poor gear ratio; the strobe tuner makes that obvious. They need to be replaced with something more precise. The body looks great but it’s heavy. Still, it’s solid enough for scale work and a good transition toward a P-Bass, especially with that wide neck.

Not a bad bass at all but definitely wasn't worth the money. Everything g was good and it plays a hair better then my schecter banshee with almost triple the cost.
