I’m very picky with guitar tone kinda like george lynch is. This pedal will not let you down, I owned the SLO half stack years ago and this pedal gives you that tone. I run it with an orange terror stamp pedal for power into a Marshall 412 cab and it sounds great. Highly recommend

This pedal is everything they say it is! Ease of Use I gave a 4 because there's a little more to it than just plugging it in and stomping on it. Value got a 4 because it's kind of a pricey pedal. Quality and Manufacture Support got N/A because I'll have to see how long it lasts and since it works great, I've not contacted Manufacturers Support. A few decades ago, when I decided to go all-tube, I got rid of my gain/distortion/fuzz-type boxes. I don't play live anymore so I didn't see the advantage. But, I keep learning things and techniques and understand why a stompbox is necessary. I've spent about the last two years looking for the right box since there are so many to choose from now. I finally narrowed it down to about 3 and then the 1 (for now). The SLO doesn't disappoint.

As advertised the Soldano SLO pedal has the signature soldano tone. I've tried a few distortion and OD pedals with my orange dark terror and wasn't getting that high gain sound i was looking for . The SLO has the gain but with clarity throughout the spectrum and works well with the amp gain through the front as an OD and gives you that soldano tone . I had been using an eq/ boost but at the moment I have been bypassing it because I love this pedal.
