Took some stars off because there is not nearly enough front panel info on these. Like really? A spread of 40hz to 800hz and we don’t get a mid point number? Just the high and lo max? Same on 400 to 8k? That’s wild. There’s plenty of room it just seems unthoughtful. Sound wise : These excel on most any source! My cymbals, hi hats, snare and kicks all shine through. The only thing I was having trouble with and needed a bit more beef in the EQ was when recording toms in a full kit setup. I couldn’t quite pull out the girth of the tom. I think that’s because there’s not much metal in here, which makes it a fantastic and useful eq. I have really good preamps so I don’t want to color the sound too much. But with the toms you kindof have to smack the low mids and these even maxed out were not getting the result I wanted. But hey everything else other than low percussive material is great, at $300 fill most of your rack and get a couple other eqs you’re good to go.
