"Fits Jaguar bass SS almost perfectly"

This case, while designed for a guitar, will fit the Jaguar bass short scale almost perfectly. There is nothing else on the market that I could find that will fit as snugly. There is about 1/2" of fore-aft play, otherwise the case interior fits like a glove. The case if robust, and will provide excellent protection, and the latches are protected with molded in guards. The only thing that could be improved would be a lid for the storage areas just to keep things like picks and tuners from sliding around.

"Great fit, nice finish"
Verified Customer zZounds has verified that this reviewer made a purchase from us.
It's not easy to find a case that fits Jazzmaster-shaped guitars, unless you get some "Universal" case that has way to much space inside. That offset upper horn and the long stretch of neck won't sit in standard cases that work for Strat-oid instruments. So this case was a nice surprise. Fits my JM like a glove, with plenty of room for support gear. And it's light and relatively compact, more so than JM cases from other manufacturers. The TSA latches are a bonus.
Sound
Sound isn't relevant for a guitar case.
Features
Best feature? The fit. The cutout for the guitar body is exactly right for my JM.
Ease of Use
Nothing to learn or figure out. It just does what it needs to do.
Quality
Solid construction. Seamless molded shell with integral bumpers; it gives great protection for everyday travel and gigging.
Value
I think it's a good value. Price is comparable -- slightly less, in fact -- to alternatives.
Manufacturer Support
Haven't needed to deal with the manufacturer; frankly, don't expect to.
The Wow Factor
Eh, it's a case. Not much to look at, but that's why we slap stickers all over 'em.

Features
I'm not sure about the latch system, but then again, I don't design cases, so I'll trust they know what they're doing. It just seems like you wouldn't want anything that sticks out on a case.
Ease of Use
It's a case? You put stuff in it.
Quality
When I had my first band 15 years ago, my bassist's mom accidentally backed over his bass that was in the case with her minivan. The case was pretty scratched up, but the bass was fine. I asked and it was an SKB. From that point, I was sold.
Value
See previous entry: My bassist has his bass ran over by a van and the bass was fine. Get it!
Manufacturer Support
haven't had to talk to them, fortunately
The Wow Factor
If you're a collector type that has to have the original case and everything, I can understand not getting one, but for my purposes, I'd still get a case that I know can be beat up/destroyed. This is that case.
