This was my first foray into Sire basses. Loved the old school looks and the first time I grabbed that neck.... wow, what a treat! This was ready to go right out of the box, requiring little set up (probably just dumb luck there). Still enjoy the simplicity of it. Volume knob, tone knob and a single pick up with that buttery neck. Not my most expensive bass but still ranks amongst my favorites.
