I am not the person who fanboys over a guitar, I have played everything from Sears department store to 1960's Les Pauls and everything in between. But this thing really impressed me.To begin with, comes with a TSA compliant case, noce touch as some come with one that isnt, and TSA will pop those locks one way or the other. It also comes with a protective wrap around the strings, again, a nice touch shows the company cares.The finish on the guitar is beautifal, I could find no flaws. Bone nut, locking tuners and such. the amazing thing on this guitar, the care of finishing the fret ends. I found zero, and I mean zero frets of concern sliding my hand up and down the neck, they were all rounded off perfectly, again, fantastic attention to detail.The neck itself, to me feels more like my high end Ibanez satriani styles. I have tiny hands and I can wrap my thumb to the D string, the whole way up the neck it is so easy to fret everything, i was very surprised, and pleased as I have stage 4 osteoperosis in my hands.If nothing else, the neck alone sells this guitar, compared to a strat neck I always thought was too much work.So, the big question, can it replace your strat ?This thing sounds like the Stratocasters big brother, but with a more solid attitude, a few adjustments, it sound like a strat should, but more refined. A touch of the tone knob, I could dial in other tones. So yes, a Strat on Steroids.When I had someone else play it, it reproduced SRV better than the some strats I have heard.I would be very surprised if someone didnt like this guitar
